Due to an exciting period of restructure and expansion, Vale of Clwyd Mind Association is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Fundraising Officer to join our growing team.
This newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to help build sustainable income streams and strengthen community support for a respected local mental health charity.
You will lead and develop fundraising activities including community fundraising, events, supporter engagement, corporate partnerships, appeals and local campaigns.
We actively encourage applications from people with lived experience of mental health problems. All staff receive in-depth, accessible inductions to ensure they feel confident and supported in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver fundraising activities and campaigns
- Grow income from community, events, donors and businesses
- Build strong supporter relationships
- Maintain accurate supporter records and databases
- Promote fundraising through social media and digital channels
- Represent the charity at events and meetings
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and GDPR
- Monitor income, Gift Aid and fundraising targets
- Provide regular performance reports
Experience
- Experience in fundraising, sales, marketing or income generation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised and self-motivated
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- IT confident including email, Office 365, CRM / databases and social media
Desirable
- Charity sector experience
- Community fundraising or events experience
- Knowledge of Gift Aid and fundraising regulations

Schedule
- Typically Monday to Friday with occasional evening and weekend working required

- Pay £28,688 a year FTE (pro rata) Actual Pay for 22.5 hours a week £17,445
