Machine Operative
Modern Edge Kidderminster is currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Machine Operative to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and thrives in a busy production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment in line with technical specifications and operating procedures
- Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments where required
- Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Follow detailed written and digital instructions accurately
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency at all times
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
- Support team members when required
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards
- Ability to read and follow technical instructions and work procedures
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
- Flexible and proactive approach to work
Hours of Work
Monday – Thursday: 1:45pm – 9:45pm
Friday: 11:15am – 4:45pm
