Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team During working shift patterns between 7:30am to 6:00pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote the development of children aged 0-5 years.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support children's emotional and social development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring effective communication with parents regarding their child's achievements.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Support the management team in leading staff meetings and training sessions to enhance nursery practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development through play-based learning.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for transportation purposes related to nursery activities.
