We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans in accordance with individual requirements
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance wellbeing
- Help with medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and their families to ensure coordinated care
Skills
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a caring environment
- Strong organisational skills to manage care plans and daily routines efficiently
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous
- Driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation of clients
- Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs and priorities within a caring setting
Pay: £13.45 per hour
