About the Role:
A logistics company is looking for reliable and professional Vehicle Delivery Drivers (Trade Plate) to join our expanding logistics network. As a self-employed driver, you’ll play a key role in delivering new and used vehicles across the UK from various locations, including dealerships, auction houses, hire companies, businesses, and private customers.
This is a dynamic, on-the-road role where no two days are the same. You'll manage your own daily planning, complete accurate vehicle appraisals, and ensure timely, safe deliveries with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport vehicles to assigned destinations across the UK.
- Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Perform accurate appraisals and condition reports using our tools.
- Collect and deliver vehicles with proper documentation and sign-off.
- Maintain up-to-date mileage logs and report fuel usage or incidents.
- Follow all traffic laws and logistics company operational procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 5 years.
- No more than 6 penalty points; no major endorsements (e.g., CD, IN, DR, DD, TT99).
- Must be 30 years of age or older (insurance requirement).
- Off-road parking (e.g., driveway or allocated off-street space) is essential.
- Your driving licence must show your current residential address.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of Trade Plate Driving experience.
