Job Summary
We are seeking a System Administrator to support and maintain the company’s internal infrastructure, security, and operational systems.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied technical environment including Windows and Linux servers, security tooling, virtual infrastructure, and deployment processes. The successful candidate will work closely with both technical and operational teams to support business-critical systems, contribute towards ongoing security improvements and ISO27001 accreditation, and develop their technical skills within a growing technology company.
Responsibilities
- Support and monitor the company’s servers, networks, and business-critical systems.
- Manage system security, patching, updates, and backups.
- Work alongside development and configuration teams to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and maintain service availability.
- Contribute towards the development and implementation of IT policies, processes, and documentation in line with industry best practices.
- Play a key role in supporting the business towards achieving and maintaining ISO27001 accreditation.
Essential Experience
- System Administrator experience - min 2 years
Desirable Skills/Qualifications
- Windows servers (including Active Directory)
- Linux servers
- MySQL Database
- Web application security and endpoint protection tools (including SentinelOne and Horizon)
- PHP application environments and operating system patch/release management
- Hardware (incl virtual servers and load balancers)
Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
