Come and join our team
Are you someone who loves working with children and wants to make a real difference to families?
Do you have childcare qualifications, hands‑on experience, and a nurturing, creative way about you?
If so, you might be just who we’re looking for.
We’re searching for a Flying Start Mobile Childcare Worker to join our busy, warm, and supportive team. This role involves running mobile crèche sessions alongside our Parenting Team, helping parents take part in their groups knowing their children are safe, happy, and well cared for.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
Nurturing, patient and calm – children feel safe and comfortable around you.
Enthusiastic and positive – you bring energy, warmth, and fun to every session.
Creative – you enjoy planning play‑based activities that spark imagination.
Adaptable – mobile crèche means each day can look a little different, and you enjoy that.
Supportive and team‑minded – you work well with others and want the best for families.
Experienced in childcare – with the qualifications and background to provide safe, high‑quality care.
Someone who simply loves children – their curiosity, their playfulness, and their personalities.
About the Role
As a Flying Start Mobile Childcare Worker, you will:
Set up and run mobile crèche sessions in different community settings
Plan and deliver fun, stimulating play activities
Support children’s early learning and wellbeing through play
Work alongside the parenting team to help families take part in programmes
Create safe, welcoming environments where every child feels valued
Build positive, friendly relationships with families and colleagues
Be part of a team that is nurturing, adaptable, open, busy, reflective and encouraging
Every day brings something new, and you’ll be part of a service that truly supports children and families in the community.
What We Offer
A supportive, friendly team who will welcome you from day one
Opportunities to learn, grow, and build on your childcare skills
A role where you can make a genuine difference to children and families
A lively, warm, and rewarding work environment
Interested?
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Bring your creativity, kindness, and passion for working with children — and come be part of a team that cares about each other just as much as we care about the families we support.
