About the Company:
Established in 2010, Fry Fresh Edible Oils Ltd is a wholesaler of edible cooking oils and fresh and frozen chips. We also recycle used cooking oils to be processed into bio diesel. Due to planned expansion, we are looking to increase our team.
About the role:
You will be making deliveries to and collections from our customers in one of our Fry Fresh branded vans. There are various shifts available which are 10 hour days Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday 07.00 am - 17.00pm or 4 on 4 off 06.30am - 18.30pm.
Salaries start at £31,000 to £35,000.
The company has recently introduced a job and jack system. If a driver finishes their assigned tasks early and before the end of their shift they will be free to leave and will get paid fully for that shift as long as the vans are wash outside and cabs cleaned. We also offer achievable bonus schemes with a chance to earn up to an extra £5,000 per year.
Agreed scheduled overtime can be paid or used as flexi time.
Full training and company branded uniform supplied.
Initially driving panel vans with a view to being put through training for 7.5 tonne licence after successful completion of 6 months employment
The main responsibilities will include:
- Your van will be loaded by our warehouse team each day, but you will need to check the load is correct, temperatures of goods
- You will need to complete a vehicle check to ensure your van is road worthy, feeding back any defects.
- Delivering goods to customer premises during your run. Occasionally liaising with customers and providing any feedback to the office with any issues or returns.
- Cleaning your van at the end of shift if you have adequate time remaining.
About you:
You should be enthusiastic, polite and hardworking as you will be representing our brand.
- Must have a full driving licence with a maximum of 6 points. A licence check will be carried out if successful.
- You Must have Multi drop experience
