An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our greenkeeping team at Sandburn Hall, York.
Sandburn Hall is a family run business boasting an impressive clubhouse, restaurant, sports Hall and not forgetting the reputable 18 Hole + 3 academy hole golf course. New hotel and driving range now open!
The successful candidate will report to the head greenkeeper and help maintain the 18-hole parkland course to the high standards our members and visitors expect.
With a development plan in place, changes and improvements are made on the course year on year and this only enhances the great reputation the club already has in the area.
40 Hour week - Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

An ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of NVQ LEVEL 2
- Experience in using a wide range of modern machinery
- An eye for detail
- The ability to work on own or as part of a team
- Can carry our routine machinery maintenance
- PA1, PA2 AND PA6 spraying qualifications would be an advantage
- Good communication skills
- Full UK driving license
- Can work some weekends on a rota basis

Sandburn Hall is located at Flaxton, just off the A64, approx 8 miles from York. Set in a 1000 acre estate, and surrounded by beautiful lakes and woodland.
Pay: £26,500.00-£27,500.00 per year
