Exciting Opportunity: Seasonal Outdoor Pursuits Attendant
We are seeking a Seasonal Outdoor Pursuits Attendant to support our team throughout a busy and exciting season. Our Club offers a diverse range of activities, including mountain biking, archery, axe throwing, hiking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), bushcraft, and much more.
Outdoor Pursuits is at the heart of what our Club is all about – we believe in having fun, engaging, and creating unforgettable experiences in the outdoors. Our members and guests immerse themselves in nature, supported by a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional activities and adventures every day.
We pride ourselves on making every visit special, offering a true “home from home” experience for our members and guests. In this role, you play a key part in ensuring activities are well-prepared, equipment is maintained to a high standard, and participants enjoy safe, engaging, and memorable experiences.

You bring an enthusiastic, people-focused, and collaborative approach to teamworking, combined with hands-on expertise across a wide range of outdoor pursuits, including hiking, mountain biking, water sports, wakeboarding, archery, and fishing. Passionate about local history, natural landscapes, and environmental stewardship, you take pride in working alongside a team of instructors and guides to deliver engaging history tours and outdoor experiences.
You have a proven ability to tailor outdoor activities to meet individual guest preferences, abilities, and fitness levels, ensuring each experience is safe, engaging, and memorable. With excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills, you consistently deliver high-quality outdoor adventure experiences, providing informed recommendations that match guests’ interests and aspirations. Your focus on exceptional service and attention to detail helps create unique and lasting memories while encouraging guests to make the most of the activities and natural surroundings available to them.
With a creative and innovative mindset, you enjoy designing and delivering bespoke experiences tailored to individual interests and preferences. You are skilled at thinking outside the box, creating unique and memorable moments that exceed expectations and redefine what exceptional service can be.
A natural team player, you collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple departments, including member services, food and beverage, and residential services, to ensure seamless coordination of activity programmes, guest itineraries, and special requests. Each day is different and you can be based at various locations throughout the estate. You will need good physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting and physical exertion as well as working in challenging terrain in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and wind.
Discover you
Passionate with previous experience in outdoor pursuits and event hosting; a valid CWPS certification and a current two-day Emergency Outdoor First Aid qualification, ensuring readiness to operate safely and respond effectively to incidents in an outdoor environment. Excellent organisational skills, prioritising and effective time management. You will be a natural organiser with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A high standard of personal presentation and attention to detail with exemplary time management. Excellent communication, with a natural ability to build rapport and strong relationships creating an enjoyable place to work. Understand the need to be agile and adapt accordingly to suit the profile of the business, including the ability to adjust working days and hours of work to meet business needs, as and when required.
This role does not qualify for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa requirements and eligibility criteria. Only applicants with the right to work in mainland UK can be considered.
