Role: Service Manager (Supported Living)
Location: Milton Keynes/Bedford
Salary: £30,000.00 to £33,000.00 pa DOE
Contract: Full-time permanent
We at Edenvale Recruitment are looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to join our clients collaborative supported living team in Milton Keynes/Bedford
Duties to Include but not limited to:
- Ensure information is collated and recorded in line with CQC requirements.
- To attend reviews as appropriate.
- To attend monthly manager meetings and contribute to the agenda.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures related to the running of the home are adhered to.
- Ensure staff team completes H&S training as required.
- To evaluate the risks of, and to protect, service users from threats to their health, welfare and normal developments from inside and outside the home.
- Complete risk assessments for staff, the home and individuals living there.
- Ensure the premises are kept clean and hygienic throughout.
- Report financial discrepancies to the area manager.
- Ensure staff work and comply with financial systems in line with company policies, procedures and guidelines.
- To attend monthly manager meetings and contribute to the agenda.
- Provide regular supervision and annual appraisals to team leaders and senior support workers in line with company procedures and standards
- Work with head office to ensure that the recruitment and retention of staff with a positive value base and person-centred approach.
We are looking for a Service Manager with:
- Previous management experience particularly in challenging behaviour , autism and dual diagnosis.
- Ability to work independently is critical
- Effective management and team leadership skill
- A flexible and adaptable approach
- One year experience in a similar role
- Experience with either Supported Living or residential care settings
- Have a valid driving licence and access to a car
