Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Marquee Crew members on a part-time basis. This role involves assisting with the setup, maintenance, and dismantling of marquees at various events. The ideal candidates will be proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the success of our events by ensuring marquees are installed safely and efficiently. This position offers flexible hours suitable for students or those seeking supplementary income.
Duties
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of marquees and associated structures in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Ensure marquees are securely anchored and stable during events.
- Carry out routine inspections of marquee structures to identify any potential issues or hazards.
- Help to load and unload the vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the marquee components are clean
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to guarantee a safe working environment for yourself and others
Skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings when required.
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to event setup is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
