This role will be for 22.5 hours per week ideal hours 10am -14.30pm 5 days per week, but this is NOT a term time only role, with a start date n September.
We have a unique, caring and inclusive team who are delighted to be responsible for the care of Children and Young People from 5 days to 18 years old, across Hampshire.
Our department has a 4 bedded High Dependency Unit and 22 inpatient beds. We have close links with our Paediatric Assessment Unit, Neonatal Unit, Children's Outpatient Department, Paediatric A&E and our Children's Community Nursing Teams as well as our regional Children's Hospital in Southampton.
We promote strong interdepartmental and cross-site working relationships with both Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital.

Main duties of the job are:
Support the delivery of person-centred care under the supervision of registered and non registered nursing staff.
Assist patients with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, meals).
Help with non-clinical duties in a ward or department.
Ensure patient safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
Managing ward stock
Equipment cleaning on F1 Paediatric Ward and Paediatric assessment unit.
