Job Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of liquid goods in ISO tanks across various locations. The ideal applicant will possess a valid HGV licence, ADR licence with experience in tank containers and no more than 6 points on the driving licence . You will play a vital part in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 lorries safely and in accordance with all legal and company regulations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
- Adhere to ADR regulations and company policies at all times
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle logs
- Comply with all relevant traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with traffic team regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit
Qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence (C+E entitlement) recognised in the UK
- ADR licence
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tank containers
- Good knowledge of UK road networks and route planning skills
- Strong understanding of driving regulations, safety procedures, and compliance
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards customers and colleagues.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
