Due to continued growth and expansion, Sedgemead House Dental Practice is seeking an exceptional, highly experienced Dental Nurse to join our professional clinical team.
We are a well-established, high-quality practice committed to delivering outstanding patient care across a full range of general, advanced, and specialist dental treatments.
This role is ideally suited to a confident and capable dental nurse who is experienced in supporting clinicians across all disciplines of dentistry, including complex restorative work, oral surgery, cosmetic procedures, endodontics, implants, and specialist treatments.
We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in clinical excellence, patient care, and maintaining the highest standards within the surgery.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide expert chairside support to our clinicians and help ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience from arrival through to completion of treatment.
You will be expected to work confidently in a fast-paced private practice environment and be comfortable nursing for different clinicians with varying workflows and treatment styles.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent chairside assistance across a broad range of dental procedures
- Confidently support clinicians in general, cosmetic, surgical, implant, endodontic, and advanced restorative dentistry
- Prepare surgeries to the highest clinical standard
- Ensure all instruments, materials, and equipment are fully prepared for each procedure
- Deliver exceptional patient reassurance and support throughout treatment
- Maintain meticulous clinical records and documentation
- Ensure full compliance with cross-infection, sterilisation, and safeguarding protocols
- Assist with stock control and efficient surgery workflow
- Support the wider team to ensure smooth daily practice operations
About You
- Qualified Dental Nurse
- Current GDC registration essential
- Proven experience in a busy dental practice
- Able to nurse confidently across all types of dentistry
- Experience with advanced or specialist dentistry highly desirable
- Professional, calm, and highly organised
- Excellent communication and patient rapport
- Strong clinical standards and attention to detail
- Reliable, adaptable, and team-oriented
We are seeking a nurse who is polished, experienced, and committed to delivering the highest standard of care within a supportive and professional team.
Pay: £15.25-£16.00 per hour
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- Dental nursing: 3 years (required)
