Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our team in Wakefield, Batley and Sheffield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and have the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of foot and ankle conditions. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their conditions and treatment options, as well as the ability to utilise IT systems for patient management.
The Role
Up to 30 hours per week, with the opportunity to condense hours to a shorter working week (4 day work week will be considered)
An employed role with monthly one to one and team meetings.

Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary, including minor surgeries.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventive care, and post-treatment protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Stay updated on advancements in podiatric medicine and participate in continuing education.
Qualifications
- BSc (hons) Podiatry Degree
- HCPC registration
- Strong IT skills for managing patient records and communications.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
- Eagerness to expand your knowledge and skill set
- Ability to educate patients about their conditions and treatment options clearly and compassionately.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is advantageous but not essential.
