Part-Time Paediatric Nurse Coordinator – Complex Care Services

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Paediatric Nurse (RSCN/RN Child) to join our growing Complex Care team on a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children with complex health needs within their own homes and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee care packages for children with complex healthcare needs.
- Develop and review personalised care plans and risk assessments.
- Conduct staff competency assessments, observations, and clinical supervision.
- Support the recruitment, induction, and ongoing development of care staff.
- Manage and coordinate staff rotas to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
- Carry out clinical reviews, spot checks, and quality assurance visits.
- Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, commissioners, and healthcare professionals.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to care staff.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, company policies, and clinical governance requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Registered Children's Nurse (RSCN/RN Child) with a valid NMC registration.
- Previous experience working with children with complex healthcare needs.
- Strong knowledge of clinical competencies, staff supervision, and care coordination.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
- Tracheostomy care.
- Suctioning
- Enteral feeding (PEG).
- Seizure management.
- Community complex care or continuing care services.
