Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and precise Bench Joiner / Woodworking Fabricator to join our manufacturing department. This role is ideal for an early bird who thrives in a fast-paced workshop environment and wants their evenings completely free. You will play a vital role in cutting, shaping, and assembling our core timber buildings using industrial machinery and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery safely, including table saws, cross-cut saws, industrial routers, and jigsaws.
- Fabricate timber components accurately from technical drawings or cut lists.
- Maintain quality control by checking dimensions and finishes with high attention to detail.
- Manage workshop materials, utilizing a Forklift Truck (FLT) to transport timber across the yard if licensed.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure daily production targets are met
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience using electrical hand tools and commercial wood workshop machinery.
- Expertise with power tools, specifically routers, jigsaws, and circular saws.
- Proficiency with heavy machinery, including table saws and cross-cut saws.
- Meticulous attention to detail with a track record of producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Valid FLT Licence (Counterbalance) is highly desirable, though not strictly mandatory.
- Strong punctuality to reliability
Hours - Monday - Friday 6:00am - 16:00pm
Location - Sutton-on-Trent - own transport required.
Salary - Starting from £12.71 per hour plus weekly attendance/performance bonus scheme (Rising after successful probation period)
