Hours
- 4 on 4 off
- Can be available on either day or night shift
- 06:00 - 18:00 (Day shift)
- 18:00 - 06:00 (Night Shift)
The role of Warehouse Operative:
- De-kitting incoming lorries containing cages of cardboard, plastic, and food waste
- Separating and preparing waste materials for baling and recycling
- Pushing and pulling cages across the site – this role is physically demanding and will require you to be on your feet for the full shift
- Stacking plastic trays onto pallets for return to the distribution centre
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment at all times
The ideal Warehouse Operative:
- Good level of physical fitness
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, recycling-focused warehouse environment
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
This is a De-kit Site role based in West Thurrock, approximately a 40-minute walk from Chafford Hundred Station.
