Duties for the position:
- Repairing small to medium bodywork damage from start to finish, including dent pulling, filler application, sanding, priming, and painting (polishing not essential)
- Stripping, preparing, and replacing damaged panels
- Welding, fabrication, and panel alignment to ensure precise repair quality
- Assessing vehicle damage and preparing accurate repair plans
- Managing insurance, private, and fleet repair jobs from vehicle intake to completion
- Carrying out quality checks and final vehicle inspections to meet high standards
- Maintaining workshop tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards
- Completing all necessary paperwork related to work carried out
Requirements for the Bodyshop Technician role:
- Proven experience as a Bodyshop Technician or in a similar body repair role
- Competency in all aspects of body repairs, from initial damage assessment through to painting and finishing
- Ability to manage a varied workload, including insurance, private, and fleet repairs
- Relevant qualifications and industry certifications in body repairs
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A team player committed to quality and efficiency
