Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of designated areas
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, bedrooms & public areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
- Dispose of waste appropriately and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service
- Adhere to health and safety policies at all times to create a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Assistant is required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within allocated shifts
- Willingness to learn new cleaning techniques and procedures
