Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food production and service.
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with the restaurant's menu.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Supervising experience is essential, along with effective team management abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Previous restaurant experience is essential.
