The Bakehouse Market in Findhorn is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our friendly, hardworking team.
We are a small independent bakery, deli, food market and coffee shop, passionate about great food, local produce and creating a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff.
We are currently recruiting for both seasonal summer positions and a permanent part-time position.
This is a varied role and would suit someone who enjoys being part of a busy team and isn't afraid to get stuck in wherever needed.
Duties include:
- Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen clean, organised and well stocked
- Assisting with basic food preparation
- Supporting our chefs with day-to-day kitchen tasks
- Helping maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Assisting with waste disposal and general kitchen organisation
- Occasionally running food and assisting customers when required
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, hardworking and positive
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Happy working in a fast-paced environment
- Keen to learn and take pride in their work
- Organised and able to follow instructions
Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential – attitude is far more important to us, and full training will be provided.
