Overview
LPB Building & Roofing is a growing construction and roofing company looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working in a busy office environment, speaking with customers, and supporting multiple areas of the business. We are looking for someone who can develop into a cross-skilled member of the team and become an important part of our day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Managing company email inboxes and responding to customer enquiries
- Providing excellent customer service to clients, suppliers and contractors
- Scheduling appointments and assisting with diary management
- Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Supporting the operations and management teams with general administrative tasks
- Preparing documents, letters and reports when required
- Assisting with customer follow-ups and ongoing communication
Skills & Experience
- Previous administration or customer service experience preferred
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Experience within construction or property services is advantageous but not essential
