We currently have great opportunities for Health Care Assistants to work within our Care Home in Kent.
Bradbury House nursing home in Aylesford, Kent. We offer expert dementia and nursing care in a safe, homely, purpose-built setting near Maidstone, our purpose-built care facility provides personalised care in a safe, homely environment for elderly residents.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing the highest quality care, have a flexible, positive approach to work, and who want to work within our fast growing, professional organisation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A comprehensive knowledge and experience in helping adults with learning disabilities and other dual diagnoses.
- Profound interest in care and experience of working within the care sector.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to plan, organise and manage pressure.
- Team player
MAIN DUTIES : Promoting independence, dignity and choice through hands-on care for our service users
- Assisting service users with daily routines and activities
- Preparing or assisting with meal and drink preparation
- Light household tasks - dusting, laundry, washing up and vacuuming.
- Supporting service users to access the community
- Maintaining records of service users’ daily activities.
- Assistance with personal care will be required
- Administration of medication once trained
