Duties
- Perform customised hair colouring services, including highlights, balayage, and colour corrections with precision and artistic flair.
- Apply makeup for various occasions, ensuring each client’s look aligns with their preferences and features.
- Offer expert advice on hair and makeup styles tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Assist with store management tasks such as organising appointments, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring the salon's cleanliness and organisation.
- Mentor junior staff or apprentices to foster skill development within the team.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and maximise revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling, greeting clients, and handling enquiries effectively.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair colouring and makeup application to deliver innovative looks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hair Colour Specialist and Makeup Artist, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your skills.
- Knowledge of store management practices is desirable.
- Skills in barbering, eyelash extensions, and advanced makeup application are advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to engage confidently with clients and team members.
- Previous experience in customer service roles within beauty or salon environments.
- Ability to mentor colleagues and contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple appointments efficiently.
