We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Care Home in Barnsley Cudworth, in this role you'll be responsible for carrying out general maintenance and repairs on our care home.
Responsible for specific Health and Safety duties with regard to safeguard systems including: weekly checks on water temperature. weekly checks on fire alarms. monthly checks on emergency lighting system. monthly check on fire exits/fire fighting equipment. Maintain accurate and comprehensive maintenance requests and work carried out records.
Understand personal responsibilities in relation to the Health & Safety at Work legislation, and demonstrates a working knowledge of COSHH assessments applicable in own work area.
You need to:
- Have excellent communication skills
- Well presented, punctual and friendly attitude
- Multi skilled with experience in a wide range of property maintenance tasks
- Well organised

Part-time hours and Full-time hours available

Salary: From £11.44 - £12.00 per hour
