About JNJ
JNJ is a premium automotive detailing and paint protection studio based in Halesowen, Birmingham.
We specialise in paint protection film, stealth PPF transformations, ceramic coatings, paint correction, detailing, and high-end vehicle protection.
We work on premium and performance vehicles including Porsche, Range Rover, BMW M cars, Mercedes-AMG, Audi RS models, McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and other high-value vehicles.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for another full-time installer to join our team.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced PPF installer, vinyl wrapper, or window tinter to join JNJ full-time.
The role will mainly involve installing paint protection film on premium vehicles, including front ends, track packs, full cars, stealth PPF transformations, gloss PPF installations, and high-impact protection areas.
Experience with film is essential.
This role is only suitable for someone who has previous experience with PPF, vinyl wrapping, or window tinting.
If you already install PPF, that is ideal.
If you are an experienced vinyl wrapper or window tinter with strong film-handling skills, we are also open to speaking with you.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for:
- Installing paint protection film on premium and performance vehicles.
- Working on front end PPF, track packs, full car PPF, stealth PPF, gloss PPF, and custom coverage.
- Preparing panels correctly before installation.
- Working with pre-cut patterns and plotter-cut kits.
- Carrying out bulk installation where required.
- Aligning film accurately and achieving clean coverage.
- Wrapping edges where possible to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Checking for contamination, tension, silvering, air bubbles, stretch marks, lifting, and alignment issues.
- Working with the team to keep jobs on schedule.
- Following JNJ’s installation and quality control standards.
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised, and professional.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who already has experience working with automotive film.
This could be:
- Paint protection film installation.
- Vehicle wrapping.
- Window tinting.
The right person will have good hand skills, strong attention to detail, patience, pride in their work, and the ability to work carefully around high-value vehicles.
You must be reliable, professional, and willing to follow JNJ’s process and quality standards.
Requirements
You must have:
- Previous experience with PPF, vinyl wrapping, or window tinting.
- Good film-handling skills.

Senior PPF Installer Applicants
For senior PPF installer applicants, we are looking for someone who can confidently complete high-quality PPF installations with minimal supervision.
Senior applicants should be confident with:
- Front end PPF.
