Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Controller to oversee inventory levels, optimise stock management processes, and ensure seamless coordination within our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in category management, process improvement, and utilise various warehouse management systems to maintain accurate stock records. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience and a passion for logistics to contribute significantly to our operational efficiency.
Skills & Responsibilities
Stock managements skills essential (FIFO)
Forklift experience: pivot steer license preferable but training can be given
Good attention to detail and organizational skills
Flexibility, Reliability and trustworthy
Literacy and numeracy skills, PC literate with good administration skills
Good communicator and self-management skills to manage the workload
Able to communicate in English
Ability to work to procedures
This role involves tasks that require high levels of manual handling so the ability to lift weights of up to 20 kilos is essential.
This role also involves tasks requiring a high degree of flexibility and movement.
Willingness to complete further training
Basic food hygiene and safety and Allergen Awareness
Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain roles
Strong knowledge of category management, process improvement, and materials handling techniques
Ability to operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently
Excellent data analysis skills for inventory reporting and decision-making support
Familiarity with picking & packing processes within a warehouse environment
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in stock control tasks
