Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Serve food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and light snacks with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sanitising equipment and surfaces regularly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system.
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, answering questions about menu items and making recommendations.
- Follow food safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels as needed.
Skills
- Proven barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety standards to uphold hygiene practices.
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Basic food preparation skills for handling snacks or light meals.
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Ability to perform basic maths for handling transactions accurately.
