WE’RE HIRING – MOBILE SERVICE ENGINEER

J.Hull Plant Engineers Ltd is growing, and we’re looking for a Mobile Service Engineer to join our team, specialising in tiltrotators and hydraulic attachments.
You’ll be based between our workshop and customer sites across the North of England, carrying out servicing, repairs, fault finding and installations. Some jobs will require staying away from home, but don’t worry—all accommodation and expenses are paid.
Whether you’re diagnosing an electrical fault on-site, rebuilding a hydraulic attachment in the workshop or installing a brand-new tiltrotator, every day brings a new challenge.
What we’re looking for

You should be someone who:

- Is happy working on your own or as part of a team.
- Takes pride in producing quality work.
- Is happy travelling and staying away from home when required.
- Can adapt to different working environments.
- Brings a smile, a positive attitude and a good sense of humour to work every day.
A solid understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems is essential, along with the ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
Experience with tiltrotators isn’t necessary—we’ll teach you everything you need to know.
If you’ve worked on construction plant, agricultural machinery, HGVs, commercial vehicles or similar equipment, we’d love to hear from you.
An NVQ in Plant Maintenance would be great, but it’s certainly not essential. We’d much rather see someone who can demonstrate good mechanical knowledge, fault-finding ability and a willingness to learn.

- Full Driving License (Max 3 Points)
- Hand Tools to carry out Jobs. (We'll supply the Tool Box)

Working hours & pay:
40 hour contract: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (with regular overtime)
Overtime paid at 1.5x over 40 hours
Potential earnings with overtime: £48,500+
