Role Summary
We are looking for part time Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team.
Based at our Cheslyn Hay depot, our working day starts early at 06.15 finishing at 15.45. This role is for a fixed period of time working on sites from April to end of October. We are happy to consider candidates who are looking for full time or part time work so it may suit a semi retired person. Additionally there may be further opportunites for some optional winter work if required. Our ideal candidates will hold a full driving licence. If you have experience of driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers that would also be advantageous
What will I be responsible for?
Based in Cheslyn Hay , Joining our team leader on a van, you will take on a varied role and assist him in servicing many types of facilities including housing associations, hotels, NHS, factories and schools in and around Birmingham. Daily tasks will include:
- Grass mowing
- Strimming
- Litter picking
- Pruning / hedge cutting
- Weeding
As this role will involve working on some school contracts, a full CRB check will be carried out on successful candidates.
