Site Engineer – Sizewell C (Heavy Civils & Infrastructure)
We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor on the Sizewell C project in Leiston and are looking to speak with experienced Site Engineers with strong setting out and heavy civils experience.
This is a key role on a major UK infrastructure scheme, offering long term work and the opportunity to be part of one of the most significant projects in the country.
Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Start: Immediate / ongoing
Project: Sizewell C
The Role:
- Setting out for drainage, foundations and heavy civils works
- Overseeing day to day site activities and ensuring works are delivered to spec
- Working closely with project managers, subcontractors and site teams
- Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with quality standards
- Carrying out site inspections, surveys and producing progress reports
- Managing technical drawings, documentation and QA
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on heavy civils or infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out experience is essential
- Ability to read and interpret drawings accurately
- Experience with AutoCAD, Leica, Trimble or similar
- Good understanding of health and safety on major projects
- Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
