The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reflective Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our founding team.
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape a new preschool from the beginning. You will play an important role in creating an engaging, child-led environment where children aged 2–5 can explore, investigate and develop confidence in their abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high quality care and education for children aged 2–5.
- Support a play-based and child-led curriculum in line with the EYFS.
- Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with them and their families.
- Observe children’s development and support planning for their next steps.
- Engage children in sustained shared thinking to extend learning.
- Support children’s independence, communication and emotional wellbeing.
- Help create stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support less experienced staff where appropriate.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Experience working in an early years setting
- A warm, reflective and child-centred approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An interest in or understanding of the Reggio Emilia approach is desirable, though training and support will be provided
