Overview:
We are looking for a full time Bar Manager at a busy, friendly Golf Club, based in Wareham, Dorset. Flexible hours, which will include some weekends and evenings with a full time, permanent contract.
Duties will include;
· Front of House Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver outstanding customer service.
· Cellar management – including ordering, stock rotation and cleaning of lines.
· Financials: Manage cash handling, monitor sales performance, and ensure bar profitability.
· Event Coordination: Work alongside the Secretary/General Manager to organize bar services for society days, functions, and club social events.
· Working alongside Golf Club management and kitchen management to ensure effective cohesion across both sides of the business.
· Opening and closing duties- including till reconciliation
· Compliance: Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, health & safety, and food hygiene regulations.
This position would suit a confident, organized, customer service focused individual, who brings a high level of energy and pride to their work. You must be an excellent communicator, able to confidently manage a team within a busy premises as well as effectively liaise between customer and management. Flexibility and punctuality are also key elements to this role.
Personal License would be an advantage but not required. Previous experience in a similar setting would also be preferred- however not essential.
Golf Membership will also be included for the right candidate.
Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour
