Your Role as a Recovery Driver
As a Recovery Driver, you’ll ensure the safe and professional delivery and collection of vehicles for our customers. Your day-to-day will include:
- Completing all paperwork neatly and accurately, ensuring required signatures are obtained
- Carrying out thorough condition checks using a chalk pen and taking clear vehicle images
- Adhering to Drivers' Tacho Break Regulations (if applicable)
- Taking and verifying customer payments (Policy Excess, VAT Bills, Private Quotes)
- Checking and reporting the condition of courtesy cars
- Assisting with vehicle movement around the site
- Supporting the team by washing vehicles when needed
- Following correct procedures for handling customer complaints
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 21+ with a full UK driving licence
- Driver Qualification Card
- C1E or CE licence categories required
- Digi Tacho Card
- Previous experience in vehicle recovery is preferred
- Comfortable with physical activity, including lifting and securing vehicles
- A reliable team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Strong awareness of professional responsibility and workplace culture
