Market 36 Recruitment are currently for a Wire Operative on behalf of our client based in Bishops Stortford on a temporary or temp-to-perm basis.
Main purpose of the role is to manufacture of wiring looms, harnesses and sub assembly items required to support the assembly and supply of capital equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manufacture of complete wiring looms
- Small wiring cable forms
- Population and wiring of electrical and control cabinets
- Circuit wiring for tank transducers
- Ensure all operations are complete and done correctly.
- Any other duties as required.
Experience, education & qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience with wiring installations
- Attention to detail.
- Electrical Cabinet and wiring loom experience is advantageous
- Have the ability to communicate on all levels.
- Previous soldering or crimping experience.
- Ability to lift up to 20kg required.
- Confident using Word and Excel to a component level.
Salary: £13.30 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 16:00
