Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and personable Florist Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering floral arrangements and related products to customers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with a passion for customer service and an appreciation for horticulture. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicle to transport floral products to various locations within the designated area
- Ensure all deliveries are made accurately and punctually, maintaining high standards of customer service
- Handle flowers with care during loading, transit, and unloading to preserve their freshness and appearance
- Communicate effectively with customers, providing friendly assistance and answering any questions regarding their orders
- Maintain accurate delivery records and update the team on delivery status as required
- Assist with organising floral displays and merchandising within the shop when not on deliveries
- Uphold health and safety standards during all aspects of the delivery process
Requirements
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating a delivery vehicle (e.g., van or small lorry)
- Excellent organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and keep track of deliveries
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is a plus
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or floral arrangements is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a professional attitude at all times
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases
- Good physical condition to lift and carry floral arrangements safely during deliveries
- Organised, reliable, with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality service delivery

You are welcome to use your own vehicle but must be responsible for having the correct insurance in place.
Hours vary from day to day - could be 3hours one day, 2 hours the next, 4 hours the next . Start times will also vary .
Pay: £12.71 per hour
