Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Installations Team Member to join our growing team. This role involves the complete installation of climate control units in a wide range of commercial vehicles.
This is a hands-on role that requires previous experience in commercial vehicle mechanics, automotive electrical work, or transport refrigeration installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and fit a variety of climate control systems to commercial vehicles.
- Carry out installations to manufacturer standards and specifications.
- Inspect, test, and sign off completed systems to ensure quality and safety.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and follow health & safety procedures.
Essential Requirements:
Experience in one or more of the following:
- Commercial vehicle maintenance
- HGV or PSV engineering
- Automotive electrical work
- Vehicle conversions or accessory installations
- Transport refrigeration
- Mechanical and electrical engineering
- bility to use hand and power tools confidently
- Ability to interpret technical instructions and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable (Advantageous):
· F-Gas certification.
· Previous experience in transport refirgeration
