Position: Production Operative
Location: Boroughbridge, York
Hours: Full time 40 hours per week Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 17.00, Fri 8.00 – 14.30
We produce a quality range of cubicles, washrooms, vanity units and lockers to a range of organisations such as schools, sports and leisure centres, healthcare centres and entertainment facilities. The company works closely with the construction industry country wide providing a professional fitting service.
The successful applicant will be part of the team that provides a service right from design and product advice through to manufacture and supply and fit.
The person
· Ability to operate production equipment
· Forklift license or willingness to learn
· Valid driver's licence
· Physical fitness to carry products
The role
Your primary responsibilities will include operating production equipment, assembling products, managing incoming deliveries, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a tidy and safe workspace.
Duties
· Operate production equipment according to company procedures
· Assemble products to customer specifications
· Handle incoming deliveries and process paperwork
· Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
· Complete necessary paperwork, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCR)
· Occasionally support the Installation Department with on-site work
Hours
· 40 hour week Monday to Thursday 8.00 – 17.00 with an early finish on Friday, 8.00 - 14.30.
· Paid overtime during busy periods
· Overnight allowance paid when working away
Holidays
· 30 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) rising to 33 with length of service

· 3 Days shutdown at Christmas
Training
· Excellent on the job training
· Happy to support other voluntary training, but dependent on time taken for training and cost, we may use a Training Agreement
