Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to menu specifications and recipes.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring to ensure timely meal preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workstations and equipment at all times.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring correct stock rotation and minimal waste.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service periods.
- Support in plating and presenting dishes to maintain high-quality standards before serving.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is essential
