Key Responsibilities
As part of the Planned and Reactive Maintenance team, your duties will include:
- Carrying out painting, decorating, and general property maintenance works
- Completing planned and reactive maintenance jobs across domestic and commercial properties
- Using a mobile phone-based job management system to review, update, and complete allocated works
- Communicating professionally with customers, colleagues, and partners
- Working independently and as part of a wider maintenance team
- Ensuring works are completed in a timely, tidy, and professional manner
- Representing the company positively while on site
- Participating in an out-of-hours rota for reactive maintenance call-outs
Skills and Experience
Essential experience:
- Previous experience in domestic property maintenance
- Strong painting and decorating skills
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage allocated jobs effectively
Additional skills in any of the following areas would be beneficial:
- Bathrooms

- General building works
- Joinery
- Plumbing
- Plastering
- Tiling
- Flooring
- Roofing
- Windows and doors
- General maintenance
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Heating-related maintenance
- Compliance-related works
Essential Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools
- A professional and punctual approach
- Good attention to detail
- A willingness to work across a range of maintenance tasks
- Flexibility to join the out-of-hours reactive maintenance rota
Some larger power tools may be provided where necessary.
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
