Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a thorough understanding of food production, safety standards, and customer service. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and serving processes to maintain quality standards.
- Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing development opportunities for existing staff.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor stock levels and liaise with suppliers to maintain adequate inventory of ingredients and supplies.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Contribute to menu planning alongside chefs, incorporating food production expertise and culinary trends.
- Support baristas or beverage staff as needed during busy periods or special events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.
- Strong knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards.
- Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles such as barista experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Familiarity with health & safety regulations relevant to food service environments.
- Good communication skills in English; personable attitude with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: £24,420.00-£47,295.46 per year
