Top Gear, based in Bridport, is one of the UK's leading online retailers of performance stainless steel exhaust systems. We support over 100 dealers across the UK and internationally and are the main distribution centre for Longlife and Powerflow stainless steel exhausts.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative / Welder to join our friendly and hardworking team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position combining warehouse duties with stainless steel fabrication and welding. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products are manufactured, packed, and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricating and welding stainless steel silencers and exhaust components
- Picking, packing, and processing customer orders accurately
- Operating workshop machinery and equipment safely
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Managing stock movements and maintaining warehouse organisation
- Checking and booking in deliveries
- Assisting with stock takes and general warehouse duties as required
Skills & ExperienceEssential
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous warehouse experience
Desirable
- Experience with goods-in/goods-out processes and shelving systems
- MIG and TIG welding/fabrication experience (not essential, training will be provided)
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
