What are we looking for?
We are looking for a dedicated Learning Difficulty Housing Related Support Worker, delivering intensive housing management and tailored support to tenants with learning difficulties across our schemes in Hull.
What does this rewarding role involve?
- Supporting tenants with learning difficulties through person-centered approaches
- Liaising effectively with statutory, voluntary, and community services
- Managing risk and confidently handling difficult situations
- Responding creatively to complex individual and community needs
- Applying safeguarding knowledge
- Being part of an onsite East Hull office based team
- Working flexibly
- Working hours within a set rota
- Double time paid for working bank holidays
About you
We expect you to be passionate about making a real difference in the lives of our tenants, to support them to live independently and sustain their tenancies, and:
- Having experience supporting tenants with learning difficulties is not essential, but life experience is valued.
- Have a genuine commitment to the welfare and engagement of others.
- Understand safeguarding principles and risk management.
- Work flexibly and reliably, including weekend working and an out of hours on call rota.
- Be confident to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Solution focused, dealing with confrontation in a calm and assertive manner.
- Have access to suitable transport for community-based work

Pay: £22,615.88 per year
