The Opportunity
We’re looking for a passionate Multi Skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team based in Burnley. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of the repairs and maintenance team by carrying out tasks such as, door repairs, skirting, kitchen and window repairs and maintenance while also being able to develop any skills that you may already have. Opportunity is also available should you wish to learn new skills within the building trade. You will also be helping to provide our customers with excellent customer services in tenanted, empty homes and without our neighbourhoods.

What We’re Looking For
We believe in recruiting for potential as well as experience. Our ideal candidate will have:
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a core construction trade (e.g., Joinery, or Multi-trade Maintenance)
- Full Valid UK Driving Licence
- General knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and safe working practices
- Demonstrated ability to complete jobs to a high standard within set timescales and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of health and safety practices in a construction or housing environment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing workloads across multiple sites.
Desirable:
- Experience of working in Social Housing.
- Experience working within a housing association or local authority setting
- Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g., damp and mould, fire safety, Decent Homes Standard).
- Experience using housing maintenance software or job ticketing systems.
- Understanding of safeguarding principles and when to raise concerns.
- Familiarity with waste management protocols and environmental responsibilities.
