We are a growing, child-centred residential care provider dedicated to creating safe, therapeutic environments where young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) can thrive.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to oversee two solo-bedded children’s homes rated “Good” by Ofsted. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader to shape high-quality, trauma-informed care services and make a genuine difference in young people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage two solo-bedded EBD homes in line with Ofsted and regulatory standards.
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and day-to-day operations.
- Support, motivate, and develop residential care staff teams.
- Work collaboratively with families, local authorities, and external professionals.
- Promote a culture of safety, consistency, and positive outcomes for young people.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager within children’s residential care.
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare / Children & Young People.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
