You will be required to work full time, Monday to Friday, five days a week, 9am-5pm. Working hours can be discussed upon interview.
Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Care Home Administrator to join our team at Sherrington House Care Home in Ipswich. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our care home facilities, enhancing the quality of life for our residents whilst supporting our mission of delivering outstanding care.
Responsibilities
- To be the welcoming face of the home welcoming all those who visit, along with ensuring calls are answered swiftly in a professional manner and signposted to the correct individual within the home.
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the care home to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage staff training schedules and performance evaluations.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff to create a supportive community environment.
- Complete invoicing and payroll tasks, providing information to the head office finance team.
- Take minutes of meetings as requested to a high standard.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative role in any sector.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with basic financial management tasks is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong phone etiquette.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- The passion to work alongside people who require care and support.
