Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
- Manage appointment scheduling and cancellations efficiently
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Liaise with dental staff to coordinate patient care and clinic operations
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials
- Assist with administrative duties related to patient billing and insurance claims
Skills
- Prior office experience, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software and MS Office applications
- Friendly, approachable manner with a professional appearance
