Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional service and a keen interest in merchandising. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will engage with customers, assist them in finding products, and contribute to an inviting shopping environment.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers warmly and efficiently
- Operate the till and handle cash/card transactions
- Maintain clean, tidy shelves and rotate stock
- Perform expiry date checks and general housekeeping
- Assist at the Post Office counter (training provided)
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
Requirements
- Must be 18+ (due to licensing regulations)
- Prior retail, supermarket, café or food service experience is preferred but not required
- Good communication and a positive attitude toward customer service
- Able to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week (including some weekends)
- Must live within realistic commuting distance of G68 (Cumbernauld / Kilsyth)
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment
